An Exhibition of 40 Web-Based Projects Was Held

Aksaray University Software Engineering Department students, Department Head Assoc. Dr. He developed original web-based dynamic automation projects, carried out under the consultancy of Emre AVUÇLU, that are remarkable and related to the real world web and meet some needs. These projects were presented to visitors at the event organized under the name of "40 Developed Web-Based Projects Exhibition".

In the exhibition, which started at 10.30 on June 5, 2024 and took place at the Faculty of Engineering, the works of the students of the Software Engineering Department were appreciated by participants from all walks of life. The projects, which included websites for each student, were greatly appreciated by the participants. Students, Department Head Assoc. Dr. These projects, carried out under the supervision of Emre AVUÇLU, were considered as important steps towards improving the skills of students as future software engineers and producing solutions to real-world problems.

The event was attended by Aksaray University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer KÖSE and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mustafa SÖNMEZ visited and listened to the project presentations of the students and received detailed information about the projects. During their visit, they paid close attention to the students, emphasizing the importance of the projects and congratulated the students for their work. They also made important statements that the projects could be commercialized and used in different public institutions, and emphasized that students should see this potential and evaluate their projects not only as academic success, but also as opportunities for future job opportunities and entrepreneurship. In addition to improving their technical skills, this orientation offered students the opportunity to transform their projects into real-world value and achieve success with innovative solutions.

Department Head Assoc. Dr. Emre AVUÇLU, with the support and encouragement he gave to the students during the exhibition, contributed significantly to the success of the event and said, "The students in our department have brought them to the level where they can find jobs in the market, our students will be better equipped in the following years, and the commercialization process of some of these projects has begun in the market."

Finally, AVUÇLU said, "Our curriculum has been prepared in a way that will enable our students to enter the business world and do business in the market as soon as possible."
