Sustainable use and protection of water resources is of great importance worldwide. Awareness training for this important issue was given to software engineering students on October 24, 2023. The content of the program; It covered topics such as effective monitoring of water resources, solutions for more efficient use of water, and water management practices. Additionally, students were encouraged to develop water efficiency projects.
Head of Software Engineering Department Assoc. Dr. Emre AVUÇLU emphasized the importance of water and said: "Water is an indispensable part of our lives and managing it sustainably is of great importance. As a university, we are aware that we must use our water resources in a sustainable manner. Not wasting water and using it correctly is our responsibility towards our environment and our future." "We ask our students to be more careful about our water resources in daily life and not to waste them," he said.
