At the R&D and Innovation Project Market II event organized by OSTİM Technical University, the "PROXIMAL" project, developed by Aksaray University Software Engineering Department students Hasan DOĞAN and Özkan ÖZARSLAN, was awarded the "THK ORION TEKMER Incubation Special Award".
The PROXIMAL project, developed based on BLE Beacon technology, aims to provide a micro-location and interaction infrastructure that brings together the physical and digital worlds. Within the scope of the project, innovative solutions are being developed for the digitalization of user experience in many areas such as smart shopping malls, museums, hospitals, and airports.
Thanks to the system that provides real-time positioning and user interaction, the aim is to enable users to access guidance, information, and personalized content according to their location. In this respect, PROXIMAL has significant potential as a startup in the field of smart space technologies.
Associate Professor Dr. [Name], a faculty member of the Software Engineering Department at Aksaray University's Faculty of Engineering, provided academic consultancy support to the project. The project, led by Atıl Emre Coşgun, has been a remarkable study in terms of university-industry collaboration and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
