2026-2027 Orientation Program

A comprehensive Orientation Training was held for our newly joined students as of the Fall Semester of the 2026-2027 Academic Year, aiming to help them adapt quickly to our university and department.

In the program prepared by our department, fundamental topics such as educational objectives, student rights and responsibilities, ECTS (Bologna Information System), student exchange programs, quality assurance, and accreditation processes were covered. To guide our students' career planning and raise their awareness to the highest level, attention was drawn to the high demand for our department in the sector, and the methodology of theoretical and practical courses was explained in detail. Additionally, our university's 'Cooperative Education Program' was introduced, emphasizing the importance of internship and employment-oriented collaborations carried out with pioneering contracted companies such as Havelsan.

To prevent any grievances during the educational process, briefings were provided on add-drop procedures, compulsory and elective course credits, project, internship, and seminar obligations, as well as extracurricular activities and library usage.

Speaking at the orientation program, our Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Bilal ŞENOL, made the following remarks regarding the subject:

'We attach great importance to our students, who are stepping into a new academic adventure, completing their transition and adaptation process to university life in the most productive way possible. I wish outstanding success throughout their educational lives to all our students who have joined our family by choosing our department in the fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.'
